Dr. Subhasish Nag

Kolkata based Dr. Subhasish Nag is a highly seasoned ophthalmic expert in cataract, lasers and glaucoma. He has 27 years of professional and industrial experience in eye and vision care.

Dr. Nag graduated from NRS Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata in 1983. Thereafter Dr. Nag undertook MS training from RIO Medical College, Kolkata. In the course of his extensive career, Dr. Nag had the privilege to serve in some of Kolkata’s renowned hospitals such as Nightingale Hospital, Ruby and Peerless hospital thus acquiring a rich and prolific experience. His finalization of PG Diploma in Hospital Administration from Apollo Hospitals, Medvarsity provided Dr. Nag valuable practical skill-sets in administrative and managerial responsibilities in hospitals. As the chief, Dr. Nag facilitated the smooth execution of the operations at NBM Eye Hospital, Garia and GRSM Rotary Eye Hospital, Budge Budge.

Dr. Nag has served in various capacities in professional medical bodies such as IMA (Kolkata) and Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal (OSWB). His remarkable paper presentations have culminated into several awards and accolades associated with them.

Dr. Nag is the founder of Oculus Eye Clinic, Kolkata where he has dedicated over two decades of clinical practice and still continues to serve, till date. Apart from that, he enjoys professional association with Nightingale Hospital (Kolkata), Sri Krishna Optical (Habra) and Bellus Optical (Ashoknagar).

Dr. Nag is committed towards professional excellence. Sincere and hardworking by nature, Dr. Nag brings in medical acumen and patient friendly approach in his practice. An active Rotarian by heart, Dr. Nag is dedicated towards philanthropic activities. He has spearheaded many eye camps for the needy, some of them in the distant parts of Africa.
